How We Work
Fides operates on a purpose-built platform designed for ISO tank and flexitank coordination — connecting the commercial and operational side of every shipment in one place.
On the commercial side, open quotes are accessible through the portal — including pricing, routing details, and validity. Once approved, the shipment is created immediately. No back-and-forth emails, no duplicate data entry.
On the operational side, every shipment is tracked from the moment it opens. Documents are filed and accessible the moment they are issued. Invoices are generated directly from the operational record — itemised and accurate.
Operators and clients each have their own dedicated portal: a live view of active shipments, open and accepted quotes, issued documents, and current invoices — accessible at any time, from anywhere.

Ruben has spent over 15 years building commercial and operational expertise across the tank container industry — working across Europe and North America with some of the sector’s leading organisations.
His career spans tank container leasing, agency operations, and commercial management — leading commercial teams from European and North American hubs that coordinated tank shipments worldwide. He has built teams and offices from the ground up in both the Netherlands and the United States, and has managed agent networks spanning Europe, the Americas, and Asia.
Fides B.V. is the natural next step — a focused, independent coordination company built on the relationships, market knowledge, and operational discipline developed over a decade and a half in the industry.
